| Trees! Trees growing in/out/around ruins! Very picture-esque, and it evokes images from action movies. I was waiting for the doves or pigeons to fly off as a warning that someone was about to start shooting at us. There's that active imagination again! |

| Apparently they filmed a large part of the (first) Tomb Raider movie in/around Angkor Wat. We did not run into Angelina Jolie during our brief stay, but maybe we'll run into her the next time. |
