| This is that same ruin with all those faces. I don't think I set the "white balance" on my digital camera very well in this picture, especially when you compare it with the one on the right. |

| Here's Nicole standing in the ruins again. She sure seems to do that a lot, doesn't she? This is near the spot where we found a (young) wandering monk, who'd come to Cambodia from Thailand. He spoke pretty good English, actually, but I felt like we weren't communicating very well. I read in a guide book that English language instruction is based often on rote; it definitely seemed that he was good at expressing ideas, but not able to understand very much what we were saying. |
