| This is the entry way to Angkor Wat.
We had just run the gauntlet of remarkably English fluent Cambodian
children, who were begging/demanding that we buy their postcards /
water / coca-cola / whatnot. Angkor Wat is about 1.3km x
1.2km; the outside is a moat, and inside that a wall. Inside
the wall is this, a long stone-paved walkway towards the central
complex. |
