So then we went riding on the back of a
(slightly) bigger elephant. Here's a couple of pictures where
we're feeding it bananas. Apparently sculptures of elephants
are supposed to have their trunks raised, because otherwise all of
the luck runs down the trunk. | |

As you can see, this is a very lucky
elephant. (Boy they love those bananas!) It should be
mentioned that another of the elephants on our ride through the
jungle actually stole most of the bananas that I had bought our
elephant -- which is consistent with the old Thai proverb,
lucky in riding elephants, unlucky in feeding them bananas.
(Actually, I made that bit
