| There's a lot of pools of water in and around the ruins of Sukhothai. And it was hot, damn hot (about 100F). And humid. And I'm sure the humidity has nothing to do with all that water -- but the mosquitoes probably liked it. And check out our bikes. By far the best bike I ever rented for $1/day. Sure, they had a lot of metal rubbing on metal, which besides the lovely noise tends to cause friction, which slows you down ... but hey, it was a dollar. |
